With acebiño and heather growing at its base. It is «enteado», meaning its heartwood is tea (resinous pine). It branches at a height of two metres.

Hard to measure, it is about 7 m in girth. It branches at a height of 2.50 m. It stands on the edge of the ravine that marks the boundary between La Orotava and Santa Úrsula, next to the Pino Rey.
