Área Recreativa San José de los Llanos

Pine forest above 1,000 m with tables, barbecues, accessible toilets, a children's play area and a campsite; several trails start from here.
At weekends about 45 cars come in, 4.5 times more than on weekdays, and most arrive from 13:00 onwards. It is quieter in the morning. (Visitor numbers measured by the Cabildo in 2026.)

Pino del sitio donde el Buey habló

The story goes that a pair of oxen was dragging timber along the path when one ox fell to its knees, exhausted.

Pino de Nica

It has a hollow 170 cm high, 85 cm wide and 60 cm deep. It is a solitary tree beside the access track to Los Partidos de Franquis. It has epiphytic lichens and hare's-foot ferns on its north side.

Los Tres Pinos / Pino de las Tres
Pernadas

Its trunk branches 60 cm above the ground into three very large limbs. It is surrounded by faya-heather undergrowth. The trunk's girth at the base is 7.30 m.

Chopo de La Hoya

Its bark was used for medicinal purposes. It once measured about 13 m, but a storm broke many of its branches. At the base of its trunk there is a hollow where a sturdier trunk than today's once grew.
